With the current social climate, there is a new wave of interest in Black-owned businesses. I want to bring some special attention to a few of the Black businesses that I personally support and love! Here's a list, along with why I'm obsessed with each of them.

Phenomenal Woman Action Campaign
I was so excited to get my "phenomenally black" t-shirt in the mail but this company has a design for literally everyone (I'm serious there's even a shirt that says "phenomenally human") Each of the designs/campaigns bring awareness and benefits to various social causes! There's a full list of non profits that your purchase will support on their website. Think of it as saving the world.. and looking good doing it!
Mented Cosmetics
Mented is a vegan, paraben-free, non-toxic and cruelty-free line of cosmetics. They have makeup for all shades, colors and skin types but especially for those of us blessed with melanin. One of my favorite products is their nude matte lipsticks and gloss because they actually match my skin tone! (I thought I would never find a nude that I could wear without lip liner)
My favorite product is their Send Nudes Lip Gloss $15. Click HERE for $10 off your purchase!
J.ELL Sportswear
It would make sense for me to be bias because I've known the owner, Janae'a L. Wright for over 15 years, but I don't have to be, because the products speak for themselves! All of my cute exercise outfits and waist beads come from J.ELL Sportswear! From belts to snatch your waist to active wear that can carry you from the gym to a salad date afterwards, this online store has it covered. Use my code GOODMOMBADWIFE for 10% off your purchase!
Black Girl Sunscreen
Whoever said that black people can't get sunburned is a lie and the truth aint in em (as my southern baptist elders would say lol). I have had my ups and downs with sunburns and sunscreen from burning without it or looking ghostly and ashy with it on. I was so happy to find Black girl sunscreen and BGS for Kids made with all natural ingredients! It not only protects our skin but the smooth application leaves my skin moisturized, glowing and protected. Get 20% off your first order by signing up for notifications on their site!
Curl Bible
I've been a HUGE Dana Chanel fan since she started Sprinkle of Jesus so I was automatically intrigued when she began Curl Bible. Think of it as an online beauty warehouse that not only provides products but gives black small business owners an opportunity to sell their product globally. Curl bible has been my go to for lashes (Michelle 3D Minks) and my new favorite product the Kouture Hair Case!
